How To Know Your IP Address Using Command Prompt (With Pictures)

In this post I’ll tell you how to check your IP(Internet Protocol) address using command prompt . It’s a very easy method and 100% working and personally tested by me  . So , if  you want to know your IP(Internet Protocol) address all you have to do is just follow the steps mentioned below .

Follow the steps carefully –

• Open run by pressing ( windows button + R ) . 

• Type cmd and hit enter .  

 

• Now command prompt will open , type there ipconfig .

 

• Now you can see your IP(Internet Protocol) address and even type of connection you are connected to .

 

• That’s it!

Thus by following simple steps you got to know your IP address along with subnet mask and default gateway .
