How To Use Android Phone As Webcam For PC

Technology is developing day by day , people now just does not do calling and texting  but they see each other by doing video calling through MSN , Skype , Facebook , Google+ . For starting a video chat you need a start with a webcam . These days there are many PC who does not have a webcam and also old laptops that does not come with a inbuilt webcam .

In this post I will be telling you how to use your android phone’s camera as a webcam for your PC or laptop then why should we spend money for a separate webcam when we can easily use your android phone's camera as a webcam . You can also connect your android phone’s camera as webcam even   by wifi or connecting it to your PC via USB. . So , follow the steps carefully that I mentioned below .

Let us begin the tutorial -

·         Setup your phone in debugging mode .

·         Connect the phone to your computer via USB (Select USB storage mode but don’t turn it on).

·         Download DroidCam from google playstore , install it and open it on your phone .

·         Download and install the droidcam client application in your computer from link provided below .

·         Start the DroidCam client and choose the "USB" option or Wifi (For Wifi you need to turn on your pc as well as your phones Wifi network).

·         Cilck on start .

·         You’re done DroidCam will now open the camera on your phone and you can use it as webcam on your PC .

Now you can do video chatting easily you can test it yourself , it’s 100% working and personally tested by me , I personally use this to do video chatting as I also don’t have a webcam because I have an old laptop .
